If you would
like to get a bit of the local flavor and see what
life on a Moshav is like, Zippori Village Country
Cottages offers an option for those who prefer
accommodations other than large hotels. The
cottages are located just 10 minutes from the
National Park.
Mitch and Suzy Pilcer, both from the Unites
States, currently have 4 cottages and on Janurary
1, 2000 they will be opening a fifth one. Mitch, a
former New Yorker is an artist and paints
primarily in oil. Suzy, originally from Colorado
was a nurse, in her 'previous life'. Guests who
have stayed with the Pilcer's offer gushing
testimonials of their experience.
Cottages are furnished in rustic wood
furniture. Each cottage can accommodate up to 8
people and includes a main bedroom downstairs and
a sleeping loft, upstairs. Cottages are
air-conditioned, include a Jacuzzi, fireplace, TV,
video and have fully equipped kitchenettes with
microwaves, refrigerator, hot plate, coffee and
tea. The Pilcer's serve (a kosher) breakfast that
consists of whole-wheat organic bread, vegetables,
home cured olives, goat cheese, sweet rolls,
honey, jam etc.
Rates vary, but range from 310 NIS per
couple/per night, during the week (with an
additional 60 NIS per child over the age of three)
to 500 NIS on holidays (for a couple and two
children).

Moshav Zippori is located off Rt. 79, between
Nazareth and HaMovil junction (on the way to
National Park). Once inside the Moshav continue
straight on the main road. After 11 speed bumps
make a left turn on the road pointing Zippori
Village Bed & Breakfast.
