If you would like to get a bit of the local flavor and see what life on a Moshav is like, Zippori Village Country Cottages offers an option for those who prefer accommodations other than large hotels. The cottages are located just 10 minutes from the National Park.

Mitch and Suzy Pilcer, both from the Unites States, currently have 4 cottages and on Janurary 1, 2000 they will be opening a fifth one. Mitch, a former New Yorker is an artist and paints primarily in oil. Suzy, originally from Colorado was a nurse, in her 'previous life'. Guests who have stayed with the Pilcer's offer gushing testimonials of their experience.

Cottages are furnished in rustic wood furniture. Each cottage can accommodate up to 8 people and includes a main bedroom downstairs and a sleeping loft, upstairs. Cottages are air-conditioned, include a Jacuzzi, fireplace, TV, video and have fully equipped kitchenettes with microwaves, refrigerator, hot plate, coffee and tea. The Pilcer's serve (a kosher) breakfast that consists of whole-wheat organic bread, vegetables, home cured olives, goat cheese, sweet rolls, honey, jam etc.

Rates vary, but range from 310 NIS per couple/per night, during the week (with an additional 60 NIS per child over the age of three) to 500 NIS on holidays (for a couple and two children).

For exact rates, contact Zippori Village Country Cottages directly: mailto:email%20pilcer@rannet.com, TEL 06/646-2647, FAX 06/646-4749.

Moshav Zippori is located off Rt. 79, between Nazareth and HaMovil junction (on the way to National Park). Once inside the Moshav continue straight on the main road. After 11 speed bumps make a left turn on the road pointing Zippori Village Bed & Breakfast.
