The current issue is different than most, in a number
of ways.
Rather than places, the December 1999 issue focuses
on events scheduled in Israel throughout the year 2000.
This issue is also different, in that it will
continually be updated with additional information
throughout the year (since in many cases, the exact
details of specific events are not yet available).
Because it deals with future events, this issue does not
include photos.
We have chosen to highlight a number of events (which
appear on the `Front Page' of the issue). A harp contest
that is held every three years and two new festivals,
scheduled as annual events (bird-watching and opera) All
other events are listed in categories (and by dates
within the categories): Music, Art, Miscellaneous and
Sports. A number of concert series appear separately, in
Hallelujah 2000 and Capital Ideas. Just click on the
relevant category on the left, to access the list of
events.
If you or someone you know is planning a trip to
Israel in 2000, please check back and take a look at
this issue, prior to your trip as we will be updating it
with new information and additional details.

received the e-zinez.com December Excellence Award and
was chosen as the Web site of the week on December 7,
1999, by About.com's Israeli Culture Guide,
