Year 2000 Events - A Special Edition

The current issue is different than most, in a number of ways. Rather than places, the December 1999 issue focuses on events scheduled in Israel throughout the year 2000. The Romans built a large fort here and the Crusaders established a monastery that for many years served as a church and military headquarters. The village is located 13 kilometers from Jerusalem.
