Recipe Name: Stuffed Matza Balls
(For Soup!)
Source:
Original recipe that I thought up
Servings: As many as there are matza balls!
Ingredients: Matza Balls
Carrots
Celery
Preparation:
1. Shred/scrape carrots and celery to make colorful vegetable shavings. Working with firm or semi-firm Matza Ball batter, shape the ball to any size and carefully poke your finger into the center to form a hole. Gently stuff the shavings into the center of the hole and gently close up.
2.Prepare and serve Matza Balls as you would normally.
3.When you bite into the Matza Ball, you'll see color and experience texture with each spoonful!
4.This is quite a revolutionary change to the Matza Ball that we all love- so ENJOY!
Type of Recipe: Jewish
Comment: I had always wanted to "enhance" my Matza Balls and the idea came to me one day before Passover a few years ago. For use in any soup recipe, but especially for Matza Ball Soup.
