Driving Tours with Your Own Transportation
Often, when people visit a city for the first time they take a short guided
tour to get acquainted with the lay of the land, gain some basic historical
information, as well as local tips, so that they can then go on to explore
on their own. At Gems in Israel, we applied the same principle, for
independent travelers - who wish to explore Israel's outlying areas.
Our short two and a half-hour driving tours are great for those who either
rent a car (and travel on their own), or those who travel with family or friends.
The tours are designed for people who are:
* On the way to another destination and would like to take a detour,
to explore
interesting areas, they otherwise might pass by.
* Are taking a day trip and want to combine a short guided tour
with their
other excursions.
* Staying in a specific area.
We designed our first driving tours, Judges of the Jezreel Valley
and Kings of the Jezreel Valley, in one the country's most
beautiful areas. The agricultural breadbasket of country, the
Jezreel Valley is rich in history and biblical significance.
Israelis flock here every February-April to enjoy the
abundance of wildflowers.
While it is striking all-year long (and there is much to do and explore),
in spring, it simply should not be missed.
We currently offer a number of options for those traveling with their own
transportation.
1) Private, short driving routes.
Short routes, based on the same routes as our pre-publicized routes.
You meet the guide at a predetermined location and he/she will join
you in your car.
2) Private driving tours - full day routes.
You meet the guide at a predetermined location and he/she will join you
for a full day tour (based on your specifications or a route that we design
based on your interests).
